Thank you George
At Hardin Memorial Hospital the volunteers invested in an organ that is played by a volunteer. We had a cover donated by a local business (more about that later), but we also needed a wooden platform on wheels. The photo shows George Howell, husband of Pat Howell who is my Vice President of the hospital Volunteers. George invested his time and experience making the platform with no delay. We owe him a thousand thank you's.

E Town Florist make my photos look extra special. Whenever I tell them that the Hospital Volunteers are having a banquet they let me choose an arrangement to use for the photo shoot. E Town Florist has a beautiful shop with gorgeous arrangements that make it worth a visit whenever you need a floral arrangement for any occasion. All these Derby Hats are on sale in the Gift Shop
These lovely lady volunteers, two working in the Gift Shop and one on the Information Desk, were intrigued with the Derby hats that were on sale in the Gift Shop. I dared them to try their favorite hats and managed to capture the images. |

The Hospital offered a "thank you free meal" to the employees for the "extra" they did during the recent snow storms. During the meal employees had the opportunity of posing for a photo, individually or as a group.

The newly installed Auxiliary Board of Directors with the Gift Shop Manager and the Director of Volunteers.
On Friday, 16th of May, The Hospital Birthplace acknowledged the work and good deeds of its supporters.
Not only do they crochet 1,400 baby hats in a year, but they donate all kinds of items that are needed by the Birthplace. Some also donate generous sums of dollars.
Anyone wishing to donate or help can call Pat Armstrong at 270-765-2819.
